this looked like it could be a good commercial with a quality meaning... guess not.

New Kid on the Block

Hey, my name is Nathan St. Amour and I’m one of the new guest writers for The Bike Stable blog. We all thought it would be a good idea to start off with a little intro for the inaugural post, so here I go.

Despite being surgically attached to my bike as a kid, I’ve only recently just gotten back into it this past summer. As luck would have it, my car broke down and my only option for commuting was to claim my dad’s old bike buried in the shed. That thing handled like a dump truck, but it was still a blast to ride around with in Kalamazoo. I was hooked on pedal power once again.

After purchasing a nicer mountain bike, my commutes have never been better. There’s nothing quite like bombing a huge hill at the end of the day to put things in perspective. My primary interest is in mountain biking (and all the variants that go along with that) since I’ll use any excuse to be out in nature.

I'm currently a senior in the Engineering Design program at Western, and I hope to work in product design and plastics when I graduate. I look forward to updating the blog and I hope we can really make an impact with The Bike Stable!

And with that, I'll leave you with this sick downhill video.
